Google had it's Made with Google Presentation and it looked awesome!!!

The highlights of the week:

Grok 2.0 Beta mini
Now it generates images, and it still as fast as previous. It's tweaked to behave like typical Twitter user, and be a little fun.
Gemini on Android natively!
Finally on device AI evaluation! This means, on device image generation, on device AI assistant, on device data processing and evaluation, it is the AI we have been await for!

Grok 2.0 Beta

Grok is by far the fastest LLM out there. It's focus is speed. If you ever tried it before, well that thing is fast! Not always accurate, but damn it's fast! 💨

Apparently they release version 2.0 this week, and I had the chance to play around with it, for a couple of hours. It has some bugs here and there, but the results are pretty incredible most of the time! Just look at this kitten! It stole my wife's heart! ❤️ It's sooooo cuuute 😻

Okay a couple more explamples:

Prompt: realistic image of a group of friends having a party, as close to reality as possible, with muted colors

The quality is really high, the prompt is honestly very basic, no custom filters or tuning parameters and other things in there.

Prompt: futuristic rusty cyborg walking away in a field of sunflowers, profile visible at sunset, post-apocalyptic scenario'

The best part of it is that it's a continuous conversation, you basically ask it to tweak the image, and it adjusts the prompt for you. I guess that's the most magical part.

We live in a time, where AI can generate images close to reality in seconds, and now your photos are basically augmented with your imagination. This is truly a futuristic scenario, simply because we already live in the future! ❤️

Gemini on Android 🤖

I've been waiting for this for sooo long!!! Finally during the last Made with Google presentation they showed off their on device AI capabilities. That said, currently it's going to be available only on Pixel 9, with Gemini 1.5 Flash

If Google delivers what they've promised, and I damn hope they do, this is going to be to say the least fantastic!

Let's digest this. Gemini is now basically the new Google Assistant.
It will be able to see through-out all your apps and read through your emails. This means Gemini will be able to extract crucial information like, dates, meetings, and locations. I assume it will be able to create you meetings for you in your google calendar. Hopefully be able to reply emails with a polite and beautiful reply.

Let's say, you want to send out a happy birthday card to someone, you could just ask Gemini and it will compose an email to them, beautiful.

Or you're angry and someone and don't want to destroy your relation with that person, you could simply ask Gemini, tell him to fuck of in a polite way. And it should reply with something like:

Isn't that beautiful 😅, spread love not hate ❤️

Anyways other things announced at Made with Google, were integrations for an entire subset of google apps with Gemini, things like, Youtube, Google Notes, Youtube Music, etc.

Not entirely sure what exactly to expect from these integrations. But I assume that it could just play music, browse through tour notes and find some information you have had somehwere there, as well as monitor your todo list for the day. That is the proper definition of an AI assistant. Looking forward to see how our life is going to be changed by an AI.
