Texti Newsletter #37

That prompt looks kinda long. Don't worry I like writing but I'm having my troubles writing detailed image prompts. I used texti to write a prompt for texti.
The image tho, is about robots coming closer to reality than you'd ever expect!

The highlights of the week:

  1. ā€‹AGIBOTā€‹
Revealed 5 humanoid robots, designed to execute task for a large variety of things. From industrial to household operations.
  2. ā€‹Unitreeā€‹
Revealed the $16.000 house robot! That will do your household utilities. IMO it's a great investment in your Airbnb business.

ā€‹AGIBOT and the 5 robots

AGIBOT is a company that is not really know out in the world, but it is Chinese, which means, that they will work as hard as they can, to get that shit done. Maybe not the best quality, but it's going to be done really fast!

Before we dive into any Robots we need to get to know their gradation of intelligence. The robots are graded from G1 to G5, where G1 are as dumb as it gets, and G5 will look like Arnold Schwarznegger, and will shout I'll be back.

AGIBOT has made a leap forward last year, when they announced their robots G2 enabled, which means that they can extract reusable atomic skills and implements them in a relatively general way. Duh! that's already freaking incredible!

Now this year they announced that they have all the infrastructure prepared for G3, and that they have already tons of real data to train their AI models. Note to say that they will opensource the development, and everybody who want to make their own robots, are free to do it! šŸ¤Æ Good guy AGIBOT.

This company looks like the real deal, they are in the industrial kingdom of the world, they have access to a wide variety of labor, from cheap-ish to highly intellectual, they have a ton of space to promote and provide their robots to be used and trained.

The guys are living the dream! An amazing opportunity for the company!

Now last week, they announced 5 new robots designed for different application purposes. Each and every robot can be purchased in China via their online store.

All of them are at least G2 - intelligent and could potentially become G3, but it's a bit of stretch. Still let's dive through the models.

Zhiyuan Expedition A2ā€‹
Purpose is to be brought to exhibitions, and be your Robot Sales Agent, it will be quirky, it will know your strengths and weaknesses and will be able to sell your product to anybody.

Zhiyuan Expedition A2-W

The robot designed for your industrial facilities. It can grab, move, raise, transport and plug everything that is available in the facility. It can do a lot of things!

Zhiyuan Expedition A2-Max

This is a heavy duty boy! It's design and purpose to carry stuff and it's really strong! It's yet to be available. It's design resembles a human, so you could use it when moving through stairs and similar stuff.

Zhiyuan Expedition A1

This one is universal, and it's design is to be a round-up around the house. It has hands, and fingers with pressure sensor, so it understands what to grab with more or less force. This could basically be your house keeper, but also it has a brain so you can ask it for help with your kid's homework, tutoring, teaching, as well as dietary recommendations etc. Basically you buy yourself a personalized house assistant! Sounds neat!

Zhiyuan Lingxi X1
ā€‹
Full stack open source robot. That's something you don't hear everyday.

The idea is that you could buy this one and a bunch of other parts and make your own robot, the way you want it, the way you think it should be done.

As it was mentioned earlier the training data will be opensourced by AGIBOT and it means you can take advantage of this and make a bot of your own! Freaking cool!

ā€‹Unitree G1ā€‹

The cheapest universal robot on the market! Now this is a robot from a competitor company. They do not reveal it's intellect level based on the G1-G5 scale, but based on the name we can assume G1 (aka the entry level?). Don't get me wrong it's still a fully functional universal robot, made to work on daily tasks and to be able to be packed in a relatively small box.

Also come-the-heck on, it's a f-ing robot for $16k! Don't be so harsh on it. It's still going to have a fully fledged LLM under the hood that will be able to process all your questions and requests!

What a time to be alive, robots are closing the gap, and becoming more and more rentable/reliable.

The time when we will have a house-hold keeper robot is closing down by the minute. The future is so bright and beautiful! So excited.

That's it folks, see you next week ā¤ļøļøļøļøļøļøļø

Happy Prompting!
